The Echidna is such a beautiful animal. Occasionally they visit our property moving around looking for food being anteaters. As mammals they lay eggs taking 21-28 days to hatch and can live up to 45 years in the wild.
We had another one visit a couple of years ago and he literally pushed his way into the house as it was very hot. He came in and just collapsed, you can see the door a little open. Thankfully he recovered 20 mins later. Here he is.
